Chris lives close to my apartment and has a car (and a lot of the stuff for the show is in my apartment), so I gave him an emergency set of keys to my place in case he needed to get something from my apartment or in case I was in some sort of personal emergency. When I handed them to him, I said I was entrusting him with the keys under a “not for bits” policy. Three months later there was a Christmas tree in my bathroom and bunch of pine-needles in my bed. The policy was ignored and I was unable to retaliate because Chris lived with a dude I didn’t know and I had no access to their apartment.
Luckily, things have changed and Chris recently moved in with one of my closest friends. I know planning for Christmas right now is a little premature… but, let’s just say, I’m definitely going to be in the gift-giving mood.
