Yay! Record Store Day is April 21st

oldflorida:

Stand by for gratuitous plugs for Record Store Day 2012. I’m sorry!! :)

If you are in South Florida check these out:

Radioactive Records -Mikey and the gang have a huge collection to choose from and there will be live music happening all day. I can’t wait to go!

Top 5 Records in Lake Worth has a really cool selection of rare vinyl.

Sweat Records in Miami… AND if you are an Iggy Pop fan he will be there as official ambassador for their Sweatstock event.. He’s a long time resident of Miami and April 21st is also his birthday. Many of my favorite local bands will be performing like Shroudeater , Arboles Libres and Trish, the former drummer of my band Angry Pudding, will be singing with Severe Disappointments.

This will be a a great day to stock up on vinyl and enjoy the South Florida music scene.

In the Tampa/St. Pete area, both Mojo and Daddy Kool are going all-out once again!

Today was also the inaugural St. Pete Indie Market. The 600 Block knows how to throw down when it comes to local art and today was no exception. I had an awesome time with the ladies, and was pleasantly surprised to find miss Jun performing. That sweet-ass St. Pete Times shoe is a hand-painted work of Rasta - check his other work out here if you dig it - he does all custom work. The burritos are from the aforementioned Taco Bus outing, the Pedal Pub is exactly what you think it is and I FUCKING LOVE ST. PETE. Deal with it.
Side note: If you’re into fashion, you should check out my friend Natalia’s blog, Fashionably Late. She’s been featured on HuffPost Style and always has the goods.
